Throughout history, young people in their twenties have consistently played a pivotal role in nearly every great move of God!
Tracy and I felt the Lord was asking us to start leading our Young Adults at Destiny this year. The more we have prayed into this and given ourselves to this work the more enriching and purposeful we have discovered it to be!
The “Quiet Revival” is a lowkey, yet widespread movement taking place. It doesn’t draw attention to a particular leader, leadership style, or way of doing church. This movement seems to be God's endorsement of bypassing the celebrity culture in the church that has perpetuated consumerism causing the church, in general, to sell her birthright to the clergy! Specifically The Quiet Revival references how church attendance in England and Wales is on the rise. In 2018, just 4% of 18–24-year-olds said they attended church at least monthly. Today this has risen to 16%, with young men increasing from 4% to 21%, and young women from 3% to 12% as God seems to be waking up ordinary Christians like you and me who simply want to serve the heart of Jesus!
The Bible is filled with names of people who under 30 years old and were used mightily by God to cooperate with God’s Kingdom invading the earth!
Joseph, David, Mary, Jeremiah, Samuel, Esther, Timothy, Daniel and his friends (Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego), Ruth and all of the disciples of Jesus!
History continues to perpetuate the reality of how God purposes to use this strategic age group!

God is at work and all of us who have been serving God for years have the opportunity to help father a movement that values, dignifies and awakens every person to find their place in the priesthood of all believers. God is raising up this nameless, faceless army that isn't about some high-profile leader.
